AREA COORDINATORS
One of the goals of FCOC is to get as many members as possible involved in Club activities.
While the Club sponsors up to two National Rallies each year, these rallies may not be convenient for some members due either to the time of the year or the geographical location of the rally.
One way to solve this problem is to provide more rallies for FCOC members without involving long distance travel. The FCOC is organized into nine geographical areas: Eastern, Great Lakes, Midwest, Northwest, Rocky Mountain, South Central, Southwest, Southeast, and Western, which are identical to the geographical regions of the FMCA, with the purpose being to try and organize smaller, more convenient rallies for members living in these areas.
To assist in scheduling and organizing smaller rallies, the Club has created a position called Area Coordinator, the primary function being to organize and manage rallies in a given geographical area. This may involve either hosting a rally themselves, or identifying other members within the area to host or co-host a rally.
The club has a Vice President, Area Operations – West (Katherine Henley), who is extremely knowledgeable of the procedures involved in obtaining names and addresses of members living in a given area, and easy methods to set up a local rally.

COME TO THE OREGON COAST FOR FUN AND MORE FUN!!
There’s an FCOC Rally July 16th – 19th at Coos Bay,
on the Oregon Coast this summer!
(It will probably be the best one ever, in the NW!)
The Park features Waterfront, WIDE, LONG RV sites!
(IF you sign up RIGHT AWAY, you may be able to be in the First or second row of RV spaces from the beach!)
The park has Full, GOOD Hookups – 30/50 Amp Power, Potable Water, Sewer, Free TV, Free Wi-Fi, Grassy areas at each pad, (and All sites have paved roads & parking!) ALL of this is at a VERY COMPETITIVE $24.84 per night (including tax)!! (Also, there are nearby showers and laundry facilities, at nominal cost.) You can enjoy the Rally, while you’re on the Coast (and vise versa!)
(One of the seminars will be specifically on things you can do, while you’re in Oregon)
The Rally will start mid day on Monday, July 16th, and end mid day on Thursday, July 19th.
Enjoy FOUR catered meals and, hopefully, a couple of “Happy Hours”, ALL with dozens of your FCOC friends, as well as attend FIVE quality, VERY worthwhile seminars, an oyster boat excursion, a FRESH oyster feed, and numerous trade exhibitors, just to mention parts of the FUN!!

9:45 am: Closing notes, PLUS hand out of a VERY IMPORTANT informational CD, etc., plus Door prize drawings, Show Awards and Raffle Drawings (BE THERE!!) All of this will be in the Beargrass Rooms, in the Casino
Note: The exhibit tables were rented and are manned by: Blue Lake RV (RV Repair), Lafayette RV Repair, McCoy Freightliner, B. Young (RV Repair), Henderson’s Lineup (Steering, ride and handling), All Star RV Repair, Oregon RV Alliance, and others!
Their participation has paid for ALL of the supplied comestibles & potables supplied for The Yurt happy hours, as well as your VERY IMPORTANT Hand-out CD’s. Please be sure to visit ALL of them during the rally, and thank them!
After the Rally ends today, there are COUNTLESS FUN things to do in the area, some of which you can book through the RV Park / Casino. (I suggest you come in early, and/or stay a day or two late to enjoy the local area!)
Although most of the basic information you may want or need is included, be sure to check at the opening ceremonies for any changes and/or additions to this information.
